The carpet cleaner turned up with a machine similar in size, to a machine I could have hired from the local dry cleaners, to carry out the work myself. After the lounge carpet was "cleaned", I realised that not only was the carpet left soaking wet, but there were also patches of carpet that had not been touched and were still dry.
