My experience of this franchise holder was anything but satisfactory and my agency contract was terminated after only two months following the no show of my cleaner and the fact that the agency knew that she was not coming and failed to advise me of the situation despite the fact that I had a baby 3 days beforehand and if ever I needed help it was then!

Agency fees continued to be taken from my bank for a further 6 months and to date this remains unpaid.

From end Jan 2011 to mid March 2011 I had a VERY slow and smiley cleaner from the Philippines appointed by Selclene. After less than two months she simply failed to show up one week. When I contacted the agency they emailed me that the cleaner in question had “lost interest and was behaving irresponsibly”. I was told another cleaner would contact me. I refused this offer and I sent an email to Mr Baltrock terminating my contract and telling him I was very unhappy with the service received.

He accepted my notice but the company continued to take the quarterly agency fees of J107.25.

I was then contacted independently by his Cleaning Supervisor without his knowledge offering to clean for me, but stressing that Mr Baltrock was not to know and she asked for a higher rate of a pay. I declined her offer.

I have contacted my bank to stop future money being taken and although Selclene Head Office have confirmed I am due the money under the terms of my contract, and Mr Baltrock also agreed to repay the money immediately on October 2011, I am still waiting for repayment of 6 months agency fees - a total of J214.50

I have not received any repayment and all my attempts to contact Mr Baltrock have gone ignored.

I have had to go through my bank to stop this money being taken and although Head Office have confirmed I am due the money and Mr Baltrock also agreed to repay the money immediately on October 2011.

Do not use Selclene in Cambridge or Saffron Walden.

They are not honest.

They are not reliable.
