This company was hired at great expense on the behest of our landlord to carry out a final clean of our apartment at the end of the tenancy. The apartment was cleaned weekly throughout the tenancy so for 500 paid to clean a small apartment you expect a no hassle efficient and thorough job. Not only did they leave the apartment in a condition that left the landlord attempting to charge us for a further clean but they submitted an email into evidence when we came to dispute the deposit amount retained trying to justify the poor job that they did as our fault as tenants.

The e-mail described a hovel when the reality could barely have been further from the truth and they discussed broken items as if that was in any way related to the cleaning job. It seemed to us as if the e-mail was dictated word for word by our ex landlord. If you want a company that is expensive, performs a low quality job and then tries to ensure that you lose more money then this is the company that you should choose.

Otherwise avoid them at all costs. Oh and they also managed to crack the glass hob by dropping the hood onto it, which probably explains why they felt the need to write the completely unreasonable email to the deposit protection company. In response to the denial from Guardsman the cleaning took place on Courtfield Road in London in October 2020 and the price charged was 500.

I would happily share the disgusting email that they submitted if this denial of blame continues. I am not in the habit of trying to review companies that I have not dealt with, I would have no reason to. There are thousands of cleaning companies that I could choose to criticise if that were the case. Instead I have only ever written two Google reviews so make up your own minds.

Guardsman was recommended by a friend and stood in at short notice to fulfil an end of tenancy cleaning service at a property in W10. The team of two arrived on time and were attentive and helpful, they worked efficiently for over eight hours to thoroughly clean the apartment. Much appreciated, particularly as we were let down by another company a few days before and were needing to finalise the check out; I've already referred Guardsman on to other contacts.

Have used Guardsman Cleaning for 10 years now, would highly recommended them as offer a reliable, consist, thorough clean. This is no surprise of their name "Guardsman" as set up by James Daley an ex Guardsman" so you get what you pay for like most things in life. All his employees are courteous, polite and thorough at deep cleaning with an attention to detail. Would recommend Guardsman if you want reliability.

Guardsman Cleaning did a fantastic end of tenancy clean for us and were very easy to deal with, prompt, professional and friendly. The team stayed at the end to make sure we were happy and rectify anything missed (nothing!) And in these Corona times took extra care. The main cleaner even used his ladder to read the meters for us as we couldn't reach! Highly recommended

Very happy with the team they sent me. Unfortunately we had a power cut and the team were so understanding and were willing to do as much as they could without power as I was moving out of flat. The job was very thorough too.

I have used Guardsman Cleaning on many occasions for carpet cleaning. I have found them very reliable, always on time and the cleaning has been brilliant. Highly recommended.

Excellent cleaning services. Great team of people who really put the graft in to clean properly. Good for end of tenancy and carpet cleans.

Very poor cleaning : Did not clean the oven or fridge first time Came back a second time but it was not better. 1 bedroom flat. Charged me 270. I had to call a second cleaner who did a much better job than them for 60. They say they do not charge in case you are not happy and this is a lie. Edit: They reimbursed me half of the 60 bill.

Extremely efficient. Great service and high quality. Guardsman Cleaning really take the trouble to ensure a professional level of finish with minimal disruption. Over the years, we have used many cleaning companies, and these guys are unquestionably the best we have come across.
